I found a Hitachi EX33U mini excavator for sale. The guy is asking $15,000 for it. Has around 1500 hours on it. He let me rent it off him and I used it for a weekend. Everything seems to work and operate as it should. No weird noises or smoke. Has 2 buckets a 12" with teeth and a 2 ft clean up bucket. Is this worth it? Are these good machines? look on machinery trader. That will show you what other people are asking and they have a section for auction results. Between the two that should give you a good idea. Remember that equipment right now is tricky to determine the price, auction values will represent the market much better than some crazy price a dealer "thinks" they are going to get
