We have a ZX 225 and the hi speed travel has stopped working. Low speed works fine. It travels good just takes along time to get across job site. Any simple fix to get this working??
Both sides or one side? It will be either electrical or hydraulic. If both it is most likely electrical (in my experience) Check voltage. Check solenoids. If one side, you can check pressure on the 2 speed line and make sure you are getting the proper pressure needed to shift.
Let auto idle cut down eng rpm. Check if rpm rises when track lever is pulled, if rpm does not rise, your travel sensor is the problem. If rpm rises then looks like 2 speed solenoid.
iirc, to make the shift, the PVC wants to see low pump pressure and high pump control pressure (ie 10 mpa pump pressure and 4 mpa control pressure). Start by checking all of your pressure sensors at the pumps and then what sk120 said.
seen this before , turned out to be a sensor on the hydraulic pump.
DOH!! Do the same test as this guy suggested and then look at the swing pressure sensor on the swing motor , which will be broken.
