Takeuchi excavator has HY-Trasm written on the side of it. Anyone know what this means? I can't find anything via Google search.

    Possibly Hy-Tran, a Case/IH transmission fluid.

    What country was the machine built for? Doesn't sound like something that would be on a North American machine. I've seen midi excavators with hy-rail setups, any evidence of such attachments? Any pics??

    Olt post, but I found the answer of HY-TRASM: It means "SUPER HYDRAULIC TRACTION ATTACHMENT SAME MOVE SYSTEM" Japanese excavators got this sticker behind the HY-TRASM on the undercarriage
