Hyd cavitation on only 1 function Cat 315L

Serial #6YM02363 I seem to have cavitation on only 1 function. When I bring the stick in(Pull back on lever) No leaks around any of the valves on the valve body. New main filter, new pilot filter, cleaned screen, new vent cap. Also, would this prolonged cavitation cause the fluid to get warmer than normal and make the rest of the functions weak and slower?

Check: 1. Stick-in spool/valve: Partially blocked passage, damaged spool edges, or worn valve bore creates turbulence and local cavitation 2. Cylinder rod-end port/line: Restriction on the return side when retracting causes high vacuum, especially if the hose is kinked, undersized, or internally collapsed 3. Counterbalance/pilot check valve: Stuck partially closed, starving the cylinder on retraction Heat/weak functions: Cavitation generates significant heat from imploding vapor bubbles and fluid turbulence. This heats the entire system, thinning the oil and reducing efficiency across all functions. Test: Swap pilot lines for stick-in vs. another function at the valve. If cavitation follows the pilot signal, it's valve/spool related. If it stays with stick-in, it's the cylinder or plumbing. Don't run it long as cavitation destroys pumps, valves, and cylinders quickly.

I will do these checks and test this coming week depending on rain. Thank you.
