Greetings, I picked up a KarryKrimp 2 and made my first hose today. The first fitting was within specs. The second fitting was "a thou" over. How much of a problem/risk is this? Can you re-crimp a fitting twice? Any insights appreciated.
I double shot all my parker fittings with my ParKrimp. The second shot really isn't for sizing, but rather, I turn the fitting a few degrees and crimp the sharp lines out. As long as you use the correct die, and spacer, if called for, you can crimp as many times as you like.
