Hi I am a new owner of a Mustang 940 which seems to run ok but I believe it has a leak at the control valve. I want to attempt to repair it but before I do this I want to know how to release the pressure in the hydraulics. Is there a fellow 940 owner that can point me in the right direction?
If you turn it off then with everything at rest position there will be no pressure at the valve.
Make sure that the boom and bucket are resting on the ground before opening any connections
Thanks for the replies I will follow your advice, I also had this confirmed coincidently I looked in to getting the seal kits.
