Do you have any numbers on the existing pump(usually on the flange)?

Jim, if it's your other post on steering and you haven't removed it yet,the #2 section on your pump is for steering and has your settings for your steering pressures in the end section, raise loader install safety bar, on the firewall same side is three pressure test ports, the center port is for steering, install gauge 2500psi, start engine with the rpm at 1000, don't move any controls or steering , standby pressure should be 87-101 psi, next turn steering all the way to each side pressure should be 1980-2080 psi, and can be adjusted. Main oil goes to steering first from #2 pump then stab/extenda hoe valves to the backhoe/ while it splits to the 4X1 loader valve and hooks up with the flow from #1 pump to the backhoe valve, alot goes on in the rear end cap on the pump assembly and may need other checks before a pump is replaced along with pressure checks when installed, more later if needed.

If you have a northern tool or tractor supply in your area you can get one there. If not check for a hydraulic supply house.

Jim, type in New holland, click on there site, hit the NH construction icon, click the english us, click parts/service,click parts catalog, left corner under model type in 555e and hit search,u will see tractor/loader show up, click it, next click the hydraulic systems, when it comes up click the1.82.3/a(01) hyd pump comp, #5 on that page is the end cap for the #2 pump and has the relief valve on the right and the spool one the left is the one that controls the standby pressure, i would remove the left spool first and check it for broken springs/binding/orings/oil passages in the spool (trash) blocking the small holes drilled in it, reassemble and check, it's a bear to get at but can be done with out pulling the pump. Next the relief valve only after checking the other valve first, it has plug like a freeze type installed in the hole that you wil have to remove first( drive a screwdriver, awl gently)pry it out, measure the depth to the adjusting screw inside so you have your starting point when you reassemble it later after checking it's parts, the screw increases/decrease your main system pressure for the steering and does not alot to raise/lower it. More later if needed ( prepare for the oil bath ) but this is where i would start.
