Just got a call today from a friend and here is the story 1968 huber fullsize grader hydraulics very slugish oil levels ok filters new. So he installed a new hydro pump and filters now oil is being forced out of the vent on the trans. I haven't been out to the machine yet. here is what his operator said standard trans clutch and shifter. any help much appreciated will go out to the machine Wensday and up date with more. cheers
Admittedly, I know nothing about Huber graders, but I would be surprised if the main work equipment pump was driven by the tranny. Typically, those pump are driven by the front of the engine crankshaft. Maybe a charge pump or steering pump being driven by tranny?
