hello... 1st SORRY MY UGLY ENGLISH... I have a question... Can someone explain me how the hidraulics are connected with the undercarriage to put the tracks moving in an excavator??? this is in my mind for a while and i can found an explanation!!! If was a normal pipe when the cab swing(turn) a normal pipe will broke... but exist at least 4 links to the track motors... and normal pipes will be all twisted... Cause i am a curious entusiast of heavy machineryv and because i dont have a excavator to see(touch, investigate) , can someone explain me this... thankfully: Rafael Simões Portugal
There are swivels in the turn table to get the hyd oil to the bottom
It's called a rotary manifold.
Like in the image??? the oil go in the top and get out separeted in the vertical exits?? one part rotate and the other stay fix?? Seems simple... Thanks Rafael
First, welcome to heavy equipment Forums! Here's a drawing I stole right out of JI Case's online parts catalog. It might make things a little easier to understand, since you can see what the insides look like:
Understood... A good invention... Thanks Rafael
