After sitting for a bit with flat tires it seems that the speed control has locked up. Is there an interlock that stops the speed control from moving? It seems like this has probably happened before as the linkage rod broke as soon as I applied a small amount of force to the level. It had obviously been repaired before (poorly). I've replaced the rod but am loath to force the lever as I suspect that's what broke it the first time... Does anyone have any advice to unstick this control?
Thank you for the response... it was the SR control lever... and it is just a rod with pivots... just took a brass drift and a bigger hammer.... --SOLVED---
