i just bought a brand new john deere 333d. put 40 down and pay for the rest monthly so i guess the question is. is there enough work out there to make payments. and is there any advice from yall. please any help thanks . buy the way. not too much experance in this field but ya gota learn some how.
Kind of late in the game to be asking these questions, no?
It would seem a little late in the game to be thinking about how your gonna make money with a machine that you have already put 40 large down on. I would say without any attachments or supporting equipment it is difficult to keep a machine like that moving all on its own, but only someone who has knowledge of your area could say for certain. You have balls no doubt about that.
Rock-n-Roll BABY!!!! I'm guessing if you had 40k to put down, you're not living on a thread. Get outa bed every morning and go find some work!! Have fun, make money!!
thanks yall. i had some help w/ the down payment. and i have a motocross track at my place to keep up now. and im going out and finding jobs asap,
Like the cart before the horse. you get hungry enough you will figure it out. To late for advice. When you do a job do a good job and do a little more then expected. Show up on time. Don't go over estimates. Keep pride in your work and equiment. Got your name and phone# on the equipment? When not working it park it ware everybody has to see it. Pay back the help you had with the down payment before you spend any profit on your self. Good luck I think you are going to need it.
I started with no real work prospects. I just hit the road every day looking for work. The more you get your name out there the better. Make sure you show up when you say and do what you say and be fair and honest. It is the best way to get a reputation.
I hope i'm wrong, but some how i see a steep learning/reality curve in your immidiate future
You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore. 3 kinds of ppl: Some people watch things happen. Some make things happen . Other ppl wonder what happened. Hey like some wrote, maybe not the ideal start, but now you jumped in feet first, take the good advice and don't be easily deterred by a challenge. Its hard to get dependable help nowadays, things might go better than expected if you are frugal with the take home pay, and work a little harder than expected to keep a customer happy. If you tick somebody off and it really is your fault, he will tell at least ten other folks. If you play a fair game, he will also spread the good word, hopefully. Let us know............
This is the greatest country in the world and if there's a will there's a way. If not for our founding fathers we might have been the United States of Mexico. Do it right and always be honest. I worked 6 and 7 days a week 12-16 hour days for a couple of years and only had more debt to show for it. It all worked out and that was a couple million dollars ago. Now in retirement mode and wouldn't change a thing.
