Hey guys i need some help with the throttle/ accelerator cable on my jcb 210s. if anyone even has on and can take a picture of the throttle lever under the hood of the machine that will help as well. my problem is i started the machine and the gas peddle was very stiff, and instead of being gentle i mashed my foot down on it,and now it is stuck in full throttle. i dont know if the cable is just stuck or if i may have lost or broke something on the throttle body assesmbly.
If memory is correct, and I might be way off, but I somehow remember there being two cables under the floor that the rear throttle connects to it and it uses the other cable to connect to the engine. take a look and see if that describes your set up, you may have rear cable problem also. Good luck.
yes from memory it is very much like this , best thing would be start at the pedal and make sure all is free and go from there , disconnect one cable and see if its free ,etc etc
Did you get fixed? I can go take a look at mine and try a picture or two if you didn't. Please let me know one way or the other. The linkage on the fuel pump is a bear to get to but I'll bet it is under the floor which is worse?
