jcb 3cx injector pump

hi all,new member with my first post,i need to remove a faulty injector pump from a 2007 jcb 3cx only problem is there is no timing marks provided.i have been told you must use special tools (ie timing pins) to lock engine at tdc and also to lock injector pump anybody on here done this job before that can provide info..thanks..........p.s great forum

    Paul why do you think the pump is stuffed? what are your symptoms??

    the engine will sometimes keep running after shut down at a very slow idle before dying off.stop solinied changed.local diesel recon has seen this prob before and says pump must be removed for repair......paul

    Did you have a chat with ECI, seem to be a very new to have pump trouble She just might need to have A chat with a computer?

    been there eci want to fit a new pump.....saying its a known fault....paul
