Ive got a jcb with a telescopic arm with bucket/ fork attachment for it. lately ive lifted something weighing 500lbs , with no issue. then so on the hydraulics got weak while i was lifting, so ive decided to drop the object . noticing the hydraulic pump shaft seal blew out of its place leaking everywhere.... i dismounted the pump fixed the seal so it dosent leak anymore and slapt it back on the jcb. now it moves the hydraulics Ok when cold , when its hot it barely moves anything. this is becoming retarded. i have no pressure tester... yes i know. but is there any sugestions..... fluid level is good. seems to me that the holding tank for fluid is getting pretty hot due to the snow melting off the tank quickly when in use.
