I have a 470G which I just took delivery of. It is a used machine and the counterweight came on a separate load. We can't figure out how to get the hydraulic removal system to work. Any advice? Also, I am looking for manuals for the machine.
First did you turn on the counterweight removal toggle switch under one of your arm rests (I can't recall if it is on the left or right side, left I think)? Leave your pilot shutoff lever in the up position. Below the counterweight lever in the pump compartment should be a gate valve with a knob. Make sure that is closed for operation.
I think it might be not leaving the lever up.
