HELP!!! I have a jd 310e that keeps blowing hydraulic filter, don't know where to start!!!!!!!!!! Thanks:Banghead
Is the filter exploding or just blowing the o-ring out. We used to see this if the filter was replaced and the new o-ring was not used or if the old one is stuck to the filter base and the new is tightening up against it. Can you give more specific info? How long does it take for this to happen?
Well we did some repairs on the rear valve body (replaced O-rings that were leaking) after that It was still leaking a lot less, started it drove it 50 feet and parked it, started it the next day and moved it 5 feet and it started beeping and the electric brake came on???? confused i let it run, it didn't move, i then kept moving the parking switch back and forth and until it allowed me to move no more than 5 feet and then the filter exploded...

And what happened the other times it blew the filter? or was it just once? Where's ludlow, what kind of temperature? Is this a JD filter or aftermarket? number?
it did the same thing the second time, im in Massachusetts, its regular summer temps 80's it was a Donaldson filter....
sure you have the correct filter?
