just got this machine,i have no 4th gear showing up on the dash,and shifting from 3rd to 4th it just stays in 3rd,any ideas?
I don't know but it's possible the previous owner wanted it locked out. Could be something has to be done with the Deere laptop, or may be a passworded option you can change yourself. Got the operator manual? Or it could just be a bad switch, broken wire, bad solenoid coil, speed sensor, not going fast enough to shift. Any error codes?
no current codes,no manuals,my dealer suggested lock out but then said didnt think the310J had that option
would there be relay for each speed?
but if was coil or relay wouldnt it still show 4th on dash or a ? mark
Maybe not, but in that case I would think it would throw an error code.

It was just locked out,all good now thanks
