We lost 1st gear and 3rd gear. Tractor will only run forward and reverse in 2nd and reverse in 3rd, forward in 4th but fails when put back into first or Third and must be restarted to run in second unless we leave it alone only in second. Checked fluids, changed filter. Nothing bad looking came out of the oil or filter. Tried a new 1st gear Solenoid Hydraulic valve, it clicks when put into first gear as it should. Any ideas? Im hoping to avoid a full removal and overhaul. No codes and transmission was working well beforehand. Tractor has about 6k hours on it.
The guys that can really help here will need your serial number to know how the machine is configured. Good luck with it.
