I'm looking at buying a John Deere 690c not sure what year it is the guy wants seven grand for it. I run iOS controls but it is set up with sae controls how can I switch the controls can I just swap the hoses plz help
That should have pilot controls, the lines all go through a bulkhead plate. You can probably swap them around there, shouldn't be a problem, it's just the boom and stick functions. No guarantees though.
On my 790 ELC, I traced the lines from the valves to under the cab and switched them around to SAE and made a diagram for later reference. Only have 4 pilot lines to switch. Be ready as oil never stops running while lines are loose.
