hi, have a kobelco 250lc-6e dynamic acera left track is weak until I unplug independent travel solenoids then works fine. any suggestions? have 24 volts at both plugs with key on engine off. is this right? what controls current to these solenoids? when you push left travel you can hear a bypassing sound and you need about 3/4 of lever travel to get track to move while right side is what I would say normal. if I pull the electrical plugs on solenoids both sides act normal. thanks, john
Hi the current to all solenoids is from the cpu in machine be carefully tests plugs if you short them out you will blow cpu. Which two plugs are you testing cos there is only one solenoid for independent travel in this machine. There are eight solenoids which all look the same but are not all interchangeable with one another. Disconnect the middle four solenoids one by one with the key on and the faults will appear on the dash when you find the straight travel solenoid and the arm recirculation solenoid swap the solenoids over. If this fixes the problem you need a new solenoid if it does not let me know
250 kobelco these two solenoids are located just below the main pumps at the rear of the machine. wire tags call them psv e and psv f wire numbers on schematic are 752 753 754 and 755. the one you are referring to is a4, straight travel solenoid located behind cab (yes?) what tells the cpu to energize these two solenoids? if you have a electrical schematic they refer to this valve as #23 if that helps. thanks, john
