need help.my sk200sr runs for about 20 minutes then just stops and computer says step motor current leave it 2 minutes ok again any clues
A few things can cause this, worn, seized ball joints, or a bad stepping motor. Remove the link and check your ball joints and check for to much play in the stepping motor output shaft. Ther are electrical checks for the step motor also. Be aware that after you mess with this stuf you may need to do an "A" adjustment wich tells the controller where your low and high idle stops are.
step motor thanks could i do away with step motor and use a manual cable instead
It has been done before. Is there a dealer near you that you can check on prices for a new motor?
i hav.nt checked prices yet just told very dear ive disconnected bar from pump and using temporary cable for throttle everything working ok just got warning showing on computer and low beeping
