Hi guys, new to this forum. My boss just bought a used PC 128 and there is a light flashing and alarm sounding on the board, words are in Japanese, so we don't know what it means. Looks like a code 17 and 25. Does anyone know what they would mean? Also after running machine for a couple of hours, it seems to lose hydraulic power, have to let it sit for a while then operates good. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
see if you can find model number bottom right side of cab to help with what monitor, those codes don't seem right was there a letter with them.
Those codes are for the auto depth and safety system. Your machine apparently has the articulated offset arm instead of a swing boom. Anyway code 17 is defective resetting boom angle +arm angle + offset angle. Code 25 is defective resetting of front face stop position + defective compensation of depth display. Don't ask me how to fix it. I suppose there are potentiometers on the arm and boom that tell a computer where the bucket is. I used to just tie wire the things in place when the linkages broke and warn the operator he could stick the bucket teeth in his shin if he wasn't careful. Good Luck!
you can check out the problm thru the monitor... but first we need to get in there and change the language to english then we can fix you up...serial # will help aswell
