Hello again, So my second question (from my prior post) is this machine I am about to seal a deal has the original bucket pins. The excavator also has the hydraulic quick attach but that should not matter too much. That said just curious if any one out there has had these pins replaced and any issues doing so or is it a basic procedure...Just pull the pins and replace or do we expect the need of new bushings with the pins? Strongly looking for your inputs. Thanks, Big Blu
the pins are simple. but a lot of times the bushings are worn also they have to be shrunk in dry ice then pressed in quickly. if they have worn past the bushing into the base metal that will require welding up and line boring thats a little pricey. the question is if it only has 2,000 Hrs it should not be needing pin's and bushings especially if it been lite duty as you described
