Hi there, I am looking at a Kubota KX-040 mini, that does not have a thumb installed. I called the local Kubota dealer and they quoted me $2400 CAD for a thumb kit. Certainly a bit pricier than some of the non factory offerings I have seen on the internet. Can anyone chime in and offer me some advice on thumbs? I like the look of the factory thumb compared to some of the aftermarket ones, curved rather than straight, would appear it would be better for placing rock etc. Any good aftermarket offerings I should look at or get the Kubota attachment? For 1825 USD I’d go with the Kubota thumb on the KX040 no question.
