What was the last year the Dresser 412b scraper was manufactured?
A book I have on the history of the IH Payline Division says the 412 became the 412 B in 1979 and shows S/Ns in 1982 of 16215 with a prefix of 542000 1U, soooo one would assume that a 412B with a S/N of542000 1U 16215 was the first 412B for that yr doesn't say when they stopped production. Hope this helps a bit.
Thanks, I have that same book. Looking at 2 412bs. 79 and 85 year models.
