I have a late 90s 753, put a new ignition in it. Now the bucket tilted all the way out and cylinder will not come back in , and arms will lift but to lower pedal has to be pushed to float position. lights are all on except seat light is blinking? any ideas?

Was the light blinking before you replaced the switch? Bobcat switch or aftermarket?

Aftermarket ignition, I don't know if the light was blinking or not, due to it being behind my right elbow. The bucket cylinder actually did tilt out after New ignition, but now won' come back in. The lift arms will go up, but to get them down we gotta slam pedal forward to float. Then they come down till the bucket hits the ground.

ive seen some really strange things happen with aftermarket switches in C and F series machines... we had a machine several years ago that had us stumped... cust bought the machine "as is" from an auction, the aux functions didnt work correctly... among other things. the key was broken off in the ign switch, switch was mangled from using a screwdriver to start it. from the key side, it looked like a bobcat switch. it wasnt. replaced it with a bobcat switch, and everything went back to normal. from the symptoms you describe it sounds like the aux detent function is activated.... id put a bobcat switch in it..
