you dont have an exhaust leak thats blowing hot air up around the sender do you? repeat failures are usually due to another, sometimes unrelated, problem. :drinkup

pressure switch after taking a closer look at the are i able to determine that the end of the muffler had a hole i it that was now visible to see but discovered it when i stuck my hand in the area by the switch im hoping that i have found the problem ordering a new one in the morning

a year or so ago, i had a service call for a hyd leak, same thing, cust had replaced the leaking switch, after 2 or 3 melted switches, he called us raising hell about the switches. as soon as i opened the tailgate i noticed a brand new flexpipe had been installed, i started it up, it was loud and billowing black smoke.. his exhaust leak wasnt the flex pipe, the exhaust manifold was cracked in several places, hot exhaust on the switch and connector, and had also damaged the alternator. when i showed him what i found, he asked me if that could be the cause for all the dead batteries he'd replaced :drinkup

That one reminds me of the old comic routine, where I guy says,"Hey Doc, it hurts when I do this" Doc says, "Well don't do that!" Or one for the batteries and switches could tell, "I told the doctor I broke my leg in two places. He told me to quit going to those places."
