Anyone have the part num for the lift cylinders on a Cat 916 wheel loader ,id# 2xb00825. 4t8648 is the num I got but I want to make sure it's right as they made some changes in later models. Thanks in advance.
Machines up to 2XB01226 use a 4T-8648 Cylinder Group, Change Level 00. The cylinder barrel should have a plate on it marked 4T-8649. Machines from 2XB01227-Up use 4T-8648 Cylinder Group, Change Level 02. The cylinder barrel should have a plate on it marked 9T-4304. All of the 4T-8648 Cylinder Groups will fit your machine as complete assemblies, but individual parts from a Change Level 00 may not fit a Change Level 02 cylinder. All the pins & mounting hardware are identical.
