That ASV undercarriage finally got the best of it!

Time for a rebuild thread should be able to buff most of it out

  4. #4CM19952021-07-07 20:34

No doubt! Just like the burnt 299D thread. All it takes is a self-diagnosed superior engineering knowledge and a condescending attitude then anything is possible.

Looks like the guy sitting in the shade has got his welder and stuff out, he will have it fixed in no time. Just looks annoyed that he got a flat tire pulling up next to it.

    That's a failed Transformer.

My son knows an owner of an equipment rental company on Long Island NY. They rented a skid steer to a contractor. He got a call soon thereafter: "Bring me a new skidsteer, this one's got four flat tires." As the story was told to me, they were lowering it into a building with a crane, cable broke. They had bought a low dollar old crane & replaced the cable with a condemned one.

It will end up at an auction and soon after will end up as a thread on here.

I never did hard drugs but just the mention of that thread can cause some bad flash-backs!

No shrapnel holes or curled up metal from the blast in it so it either fell to the ground from transporting, someone hit it with a tank or something of the sorts or someone just scraping it and looks as such from a grapple crane picking it up. I have survived driving over a IED and experienced first hand what they do, gives me flashbacks thinking about it.

Couldn't be any harder to repair than this --> I like watching the guy in Australia at Cutting Edge but these Pakis are more my kind of hackery. Joe H

Somebody needed the battery out of it, so used an excavator with a chicken to get it.

That truck restoration, what a great video, hope those old boys sleep well at night. Hard work in that heat.

Lots of faith in the guy swinging the sledgehammer.

  22. #22d9gdon2021-08-14 22:17

The US Army destroyed that equipment on purpose so that it would not fall into enemy hands.

Wow. And the trust shown by the guys holding the punches and drivers. Impressive metal skill!!!!
