   And in the time it took to move that tree a few hundred acres of rainforest where destroyed. Don't get me wrong I am all for trees but for the money put into moving that one tree you could have planted a few thousand. Anyway from a more technical viewpoint, why where the dozers pulling backwards and why where the tow lines so high, I would have thought keeping the tow lines low/horizontal would be the go, as you are trying to lift and pull at the same time but then I have never pulled a tree that big?
