Mini EX, 7000 lbs, 3200 Kg machine. I have owned it about 7 years. Actually both solenoids on the pump burned out. First, the tracks would move but no boom power. Traced power to the solenoids at the pump but they were very hot. A hack around the problem a handy friend used was to block the solenoid open. Power to the boom restored. Then the other solenoid burned out and same hack to the other solenoid restored tracks. Now unit is in high speed which never would work before. Also power to the tracks for travel up a hill, pushing with the blade, and turning is diminished. The unit is old with nonfunctioning hour meter and a bit of blow by, but is operational with good power to the blade and the boom, stick and bucket. It will maneuver and travel, just have to work with it. Solenoids in question pictured. What are the proper names for these parts and are replacements available?
Every manufacturer calls them something different. I call them solenoid valves.
