Sounds like SAE straight thread o-ring boss, but your description is somewhat vague. Your best bet would be to visit your Parker store and get the Pkt02585 kit. Now, you are good to go for next time.

You can google up o ring suppliers and find deals. Is there a local company to you? O rings are not usually expensive. I often buy them from Hercules Sealing Products in Florida. They come in packs of 25 or so. Then there is freight that would be more than the product. They sell o ring kits at good prices.

Sounds like either face seals, which is the outer face of the fitting, or O-ring boss, which is the end that screws into a valve body or fixture. Good source for more than you will ever need at good prices: https://www.theoringstore.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=175

thanks everyone, i think i found the right ones. they are on order from a motion and flow store , handles Parker products. he called them JIC soft seat o-rings . they are at the start of the threads so probably are called Face o-rings. i'll check out the sites you said for future needs.
