I have a new holland l775 new to me. The tilt cylinder leaks around the cap. I have done other cylinders before, but this one is kicking my butt. How does the cap come off? It just spins. There doesn't seem to be a keeper wire, it was not pulled up tight against the body when I started, but as soon as I turned it some, it snapped up tight to the body and now just spins.
On my ASV, the wire lock end, had to be pried up above the cylinder cap, then turn cap to spin it out. It took a couple tries, I would imagine yours is similar. but don't quote me.
