New Holland motors

Debating between Gehl and New Holland. And between tires or tracks. What brand of motor is in the New Holland? Dealer could not tell me. One strike against him. Any help is appreciated. General farm work and brush and demo work is main use.

The motor is Iveco. I have a 3.2 at 90hp in a TR320. Pretty impressive motor. I have also had 3, 4.5L motors in different skid steers. Never a problem with any of them, faster recovery under load than my 3.9T's. The 3.2L is decent on fuel useage for the HP rating.

Iveco is owend By CNH witch is owned by fiat. The base block of the motors are made by cummins Fiat owens part of cummins Europe. They are good engines if looked after properly. Tracks have far more pushing power and floatation the cost of repairs to tracks are way more then buyig new tires.
