New holland skid starter filled with oil

I'd assume it is rear main seal but not to familiar with skid steers, was quoted $2000 for main seal thru a shop and possible it could be hydraulic pump off the back of engine leaking and it would be $3000 so my question is any way to identify between a leaky rear main and a leaking trans/hydro pump, both oils are the same 15/40

What model is it? My LS180 has a seal between the flywheel and pump drive gear housing which could be leaking which holds 80 90 gear oil. Does the engine have much blowby, and if it does, is it building up any crankcase pressure? The three cylinder engines are the same as the farm tractors and rear seals are not a problem. Oil is not the same. Engine is 15 40 and hydrostats are 10 30. The LS and older LX machines are easy to work on and parts aren't too expensive even into the pumps which a leak likely could never get into the flywheel area. An engine pull would be relatively easy if it is rear main which I doubt.
