New JCB Skidsteer questions

RCMEDIA ยท 2014-08-12 21:01

Got a new JCB skid today and I have a few questions: 1) Is it normal to hear some heavy mechanical clanking as I'm moving over bumps, almost sounds as if something heavy is loose? Second question is i hooked up my 6 in 1 bucket to the machine but regardless of which button I select I can get the bucket to open. Thanks in advance

did you connect the hoses to the right port that same thing happened to some one with a plow and it would not tilt left or right .

You have a brand new machine and have questions about itand your asking here ? Very strange. Contact your dealer...something seems off about this ....We all know JCB makes skidsteers....just saying...

RCMEDIA- no offense, but didn't your salesman give you a complete machine walk around showing you how everything worked when he delivered the machine? I used to go through the OMM, all the filters, all the cab controls and attachments and most importantly safety before we signed any paperwork. Cuts down on confusion and saves you and the salesman time. Good luck with your machine. BTW...heavy clunking doesn't sound normal.

RCMEDIA...what all the previous posters said X2...If your JCB dealer did NOT go over your new machine with you pretty thoroughly at time of delivery, then what did they do besides gladly take your money!!! Sounds to me like they owe you answers...call them..& good luck with your new machine. What model did you buy??..& what buckets/accessories??

Wheels (225) or tracks (225T)?? And if 225T, what width tracks, 12.6" or 17.7"??

i assume you activated your joystick buttons with the dash button? clanking is not really normal. does it only do it when the boom is an inch or 2 from being all the way down? if that is the case maybe the boom stops or centering cup is adjusted wrong.
