Hey guys, thank's fine any help on this, 1984 310b backhoe wiring issues. Back story the key broke off in the ignition, we removed the ignition tip replace it and my brother removed the wires before we could take a picture where they were. At first we could not get it to start, but moved one of the wires it started but no hydraulics. We shut it down installed the new ignition to the cab and try to start again and now we get nothing. Anybody have an idea how it should be wired, tractor is in rock springs 8 hrs away so just trying to make the trips count. Thanks again for any help

It's not rocket science, you have one wire that comes from the battery, hot at all times that the battery is connected. Another wire that turns on the accessories, and another wire that turns on the fuel injection pump solenoid. Carefully touch the wires together and you should be able to figure them out easy enough. Bat+, A or Acc, I or Ign for ignition. You may have more small wires that go two to a terminal to complicate things, but those are the main wires. I don't think you have the "monitor" system, just gauges, so you shouldn't have the funky switch that has to ground the monitor to "wake it up".

Does a 310b use a solenoid to destroke the pump? That's the only way I can think of for this to kill your hydraulics.
