Here are some pictures of our new Murray M2000 booster 9 axle being built. It will have a deck and beam.

needs a coat of paint.... other wise it's a great start... got a color picked yet... I'm thinking chartroose
thanks! it will be painted med. rich blue metallic like our other trailers
LOL wonder who's shop that is....did you say hi to doug and chaz when you were there?
We cheated a little It was about 70-80% of the way done with the fabrication sitting out back waiting for the right person It was just moved back into the shop and started working away at it again! We still have a whole other beam deck to build for it and lots of other minor finish work before it moves to the paint shop. :usa
Hey chaz will it get blasted before paint?
Yes we sand blast everything before paint.
Looks good so far.I noticed a few changes from the older trailers like the jeep and the gooseneck. Why do you have the plate on the neck?I assume the 5th wheel is blocked what benefit is there to this?Is it getting disk brakes or drums? Are the hydraulics in the rear standard now?Anyways Keep up the pics.
The plate on the neck...I am not sure what you are referring to. As for the 5th wheel, it is blocked for one reason...It is more stable when turning if the pivot point is on the gooseneck and not the jeep. When the jeep is going in a straight line is makes no difference, it only matters when the trailer is jack knifed or on a off chamber turning situation where the blocked pivot plate 5th wheel really helps. If it is left alone the trailer would want to lean to left or right if the 5th wheel is not blocked but with that pivot plate it still allows it to tilt but only forward and back not allow the deck to lean over. I hope I semi explained that because I think i might have confused myself a little there Yes this trailer is getting disc brakes with Airgo air inflation on all axles and the Hydraulics in the rear are not standard, it is a option but it will be on this trailer also.
I was asking about the pivot plate on the neck.Oh now I get it that makes perfect sense I never thought of it that way.Cool, disk brakes air inflation all it needs are on board scales.
Well wireless scales are an option too...Its all up to Renn
Hell its only money! Needs the renn script logo cut in to the tail and back lit red. Other than that looks like a bad assed wagon in the making. The airgo tire inflation is a GREAT option wish my old trailer had it, All the time spent checking tires and sticking them for pressures weekly would add up to a couple of days of time i could have spent sleeping or being lazy.

getting closer
That is awesome. Well done.
preen, not sure if i've said this before, but i really like the blue you have for fleet colors. You have some real nice trucks, and trailers too, but the blue makes look better. :drinkup
Thanks!
almost done, got a 988H to haul with it friday... The whole Murray Trailer crew has been working hard to get it done and it looks awesome!
lol i just talked to Chaz on FB, he said you guys need to buy the other one they got too....
haha its crossed our minds! but i think we need another steerable for around town too many tight jobsites in the bay area
HAHA...The other one is the wrong color though but is almost identical...A few less lights
:beatsmeHey you guys got a paint shop....thats an easy fix....2% is my standerd rate...lol!
Wow looks real nice. Are you running the hydraulics from the pony motor in the jeep to the rear?
Yes they are all running off the jeep so only one pony motor on the trailer.
Cool one less motor to run out of fuel. Not that I would know about that sort of thing.
Its not so much the painting part that I am worried about....Its the dis-assembly and reassembly that takes so much time...Its doable but just lots of work to make it pretty Yea you PTO guys don't really like the pony motor set up
well that pto setup wont work too well with bumpsteer!
Yea don't think that would work too well with that...for the lift tower no problem though
I like the idea on only one motor.I was watching a tv show the other day and they had remote steering in the rear that would be nice dont even have to get out of the truck.
We have been looking into that but have not found any options we really like yet that would be reliable and work the way we want.
That would be sweet to have! but you still dont need to get out of the cab, thats what the pilot car driver is for! hahaha
thats what i was talking about, they were hauling wind mill blades and the pilot steered from the cab of there truck. I gotta figure out how to steer my truck from my house that would be sweet.
something like this would be good....i think... YouTube - Western Trailer ForceSteer
Needs chrome stemco's. Other that the usual Murray quality shines through and it would be 99.95% cooler with incandescent betts tanker lights down the side. Not that the led's aren't cool but betts lights with 1156's in them would be bad azz.
Dualie it will get hubcaps, gotta hide those air system hose's. betts lights would be cool!
road tested today
Couple more
where's the tail gate party and the entertainment, that's something to celebrate u all most dont want to hall anything on it to scrach the paint.that deserves a big ole pat on the back.murry cant beat them!!
well i tried my best not to scratch it, but it got a few haha. Trailer handles perfectly, its really nice!
Last two pics, the tower was way up to get in the driveway.
couple of questions why do You have the machine so far back on the trailer with the rear kicked up? And what is your over all height? That's a good looking rig, but city driving must be a pita.
when i picked up my last new lowbed i took a bottle of miller high life ("Champagne of beers") Had my girlfriend smash it on the neck roller. As a little ships launch/christening. Still needs some Betts lights though.
it didn't need to be that far back. the rear is higher, because when the trailer is on the ground the back of the beam is higher so when blocking the machine up to back it on the trailer the rear needed to be higher to clear the beam. It was 14'8". Dualie thats a good idea!:drinkup
Nice ride Renn real nice!!! You know you were bummed when you hit that wet pavement with your brand new sled.
Thanks! the wet pavement wasn't the worst part, it started pouring before i left the quarry and the haul road was a mess! oh well the truck washers came today:thumbsup
looks good 14,8 real nice trying to place what peterson dealier your at looks like gilroy? also saw 2 of your trucks out in Tx I 10 heading west bound 5axle 9axle,with a tarped load. little under cover work I like it,ceeps people guessing
9axle- yep thats the peterson i was at, its actually San Martin but right next to Gilroy. I let you in on those loads haha they were hauling two steel shafts for a hydro electric plant. Past 5 of your guys's trucks on 580 eastbound in livermore on monday they were hauling crane parts, you guys got one nice fleet. what were you doin down in tx?
another 988 this one didnt have reverse haha Need to get a heavy load on this thing soon!
988 on deck We can't do that around here, well we could, but it would play hell with the bridges and stop lights. Anything over 14' high you have to watch where your going in Michigan.
here is a 631 and a crane body
Cat 385 with a long boom
800 Hitachi
The T800W looks mean.:drinkup
Looks just as good unloaded as loaded....
Nice pic Tonka! you and your buddies must always have the camera ready. thanks for posting
Nice pictures. What would you gross out at with a full load on? What does the empty tractor and trailers weigh?
It depends on the axles under the particular truck pulling it but with that trailer in california your maximum gross weight would be 248,000 pounds. You will have to wait for mr Renn to chime in on the empty weight.
