So, after a bit of "volunteer" tree work last weekend I further damaged the levelling links (one was already slightly bowed and the other actually kinked) when I got hung up on a branch. Ideally, I'd like to remove them and take them to a REAL shop in town but with them tweaked they both appear to be loaded (tension) in the at-rest position. Any experienced suggestions on how to proceed would be appreciated. Replacements from Nifty aren't too outrageous at about $550 apiece plus freight.
