   Yes you posted this thread yesterday morning. clam on bucket The clam on my 580 super E does not close all the way. The spool comes out too far and hits the cover. years and never had a problem.    Is the bolt backing out on the centering spring? I have seen on some other valves where the bolt can work loose and hit the cover.
