Bullcat, What do you pull the scraper with and how many yards will it hold?

We have pulled it with late D8H but we pull it with a late D9G now.

Yair . . . Oh man Bullcat , how sweet that is! How do you go with with the hydraulics and rollovers? Cheers.

Thanks Scrub Puller, of all our equipment this unit is one of my favorites to run. Im going to assume by rollover you mean rolling the scraper. Ive not rolled one yet, came really close many times but every time it looks close I drop the bit to start cutting to get suction on bowl and pull her through till more stable. Also do this with our cable 463 pulled with D9G

Yair . . . Gotcha Bullcat . Us Colonials are maybe a more adventurous or less skilled. A scraper on its side was not uncommon . . . thinking back though it was often the LP Le Tourneau's with the overhead gear which would probably have had some affect on stability. Usually no big deal . With cable you could mostly screw around and back them up onto their feet. Some thing used to come adrift with the sheaves on the LP's though and sorting out the ropes at midnight could be a dirty greasy nightmare . . . I was just noting that with hydraulics the consequences could be dire. Cheers.

Your right, I think it could get a little messy if hydraulic lines broke. I did once break a cable scraper cable with no screen on back of D8. The marks in the fuel tank from the cable are still there today, a screen was installed that day.

Nice pictures. Looks like you've hauled great. Anyway, what is the biggest equipment that you've hauled?
