Parker Hannifin Power Steering Pump D17x Rebuild

Hi all, Power steering fluid was leaking out the seal at the gear into engine. Bought the 1201-1621 seal kit. The filter inside has some material that I believe has disintegrated, but the inside metal mesh is good. Anyone have any experience with this pump? The part number is 1039660M1 - Steering Element ~$50 I’ll try to find a picture of the part in the meantime.

    Thanks. Sorry, I found the part number and edited the post. Hopefully, this mesh hasn’t damaged the pump. Part number 675280 also looks like a fit.
