Please help. I have a pc35mr-2 with 3d88 engine, bougth it second hand, for a few months it works perfectly, but then the temp starts overheat, we already cleaned the radiator and change the cylinder head gasket but it still overheating, we decided to check the engine and we find a defective piston, we change the piston and piston ring then we cleaned the injectors, after everything said and done it still overheating, we checked the water pump we notice that it is mulfunctioning so we replaced it. All parts are original yanmar and brand new by the way. We tested it today it still overheating, we are running out of option what to do. Please help.

Thermostat could be bad if you have not changed it. Make sure coolant hoses are not collapsing while running engine. Are there any bubbles in the radiator while engine running Last I would verify engine temperature with a different temp gauge and sensor to rule out faulty sensor.

This. Are you determining overheat by a gauge? .....or is the engine puking coolant?

Not sure what "cleaned" the radiator means...if you didn't do this you should give it a try. It made a difference for me.
