my kubota pc35 escavator runs good but when operating at higher rpm it loses hyd. power, pulls the engine down.. does not seem to be as powerful as once was...need advice could it be a colapsed line or filter ???
Kubota does not make a pc35mr-2. It would be a komatsu. :beatsme How many hours are on it since the last service? What you describe sounds like fuel starvation. Start by changing the fuel filter.
been setting up, thats a good starting point. i will try that, Thanks ,,,
Changed fuel filter, fuel lines, still same thing. motor runs good but when i swing or boom out the motor pulls down, let off the lever motor speeds right back up ... Confused on this one ??? Please Help....Thanks...
yeah i meant komatsu not kubota, sorry bout that.
Make sure you check all the easy stuff first. Fuel filters and strainers as may be associated with your machine including any hidden strainers. There may be one on the outlet of the fuel tank and many times they have them inside a banjo bolt on the inlet of the fuel transfer pump or fuel filter. Air filters are also often overlooked. I don't think there are any electrical controls you have to worry about on this model so if the problem isn't horsepower you will probably have to find a book and someone who knows how to interpret the schematics to troubleshoot the hydraulic system.
Got it fixed today, finally, turned out it was the hyd. filter... took a while to get it from komatsu . put it on works great now.. Had me puzzled, had me thinking the engine wasn't get enough fuel... cause of the powering out. Big Thanks for all Ya'll help....
