Here's some shots using an old Ulrich wing modified to bolt to the moldboard of our JD770D. Works pretty slick. Gotta pay attention to things like fences, mailboxes, telephone pedestals, etc.
pics Here's some better pics of how the wing is mounted. By fastening to the moldboard it gives you great flexibility. Put the table in the bank position and you can pile snow higher than the grader or reach out 15-20 feet to the side.
Jd Then if that fails you go home and get the real snow pusher!!!
wing Here's some pics showing the versatility of this setup.
wing Here's some closeups of how it's mounted. The bracket that fastens to the moldboard has a hinge. The brace running from the wing to the moldboard telescopes. This allows you to change the angle for different applications. You can also bolt the brace bracket in a different place on the moldboard to change the angle. Originally this wing would have been used by bolting the telescoping brace between the tandems and running the moldboard in the same angle as the wing.
