I want test my machines main relief valve pressure with pressure gauge. How can i test with gauge and what should the position of the excavator. My machines are kobelco sk125sr-2. Cat 313bcr. Can any one give me some demo
Good day I suggest you invest in a digital pressure gauge, and also consider if you have a load sensing system dual ports with the possibility to measure Delta P. much safer. Hose's and anologe gauge will have a shorter life and much more messy to use. Dead ending cylinders with full engine speed would be the most common method of checking MRV's . Having adjusted many MRV's a 10 bar (142 psi) increase goes unnoticed unless the operator is watching the adjustment taking place, in which case the psychological impact solves power problems in many case's. If you are unsure to carry out a pressure check invest in a manual or get a friendly excavator man to check it for you. Kind regards Uffex
