For my old JCB backhow-- Ive seen reference to "Type F" transmission fluid (easily available) being the same as "ATF 33G" or "33G" trans. fluids....(which might all be shorthand for the "Ford ESN - M2C33G" specified in the old JCB manual. ) Apparently "type F" was used for early Ford Automatic transmissions. Has anyone determined if "Type F" is indeed the same fluid? ...AND--can I mix Type F with what Ive used for years: the standard Chevron or5 NAPA 5 gallon bucks of Hyd-Trans. fluids? THANKS !!
