Depends on what you are pushing and how far you are pushing it. Don't do much of any pushing here if it is any distance at all. Hook up the pans behind D8K and D7G and haul it. Get lots more per pass that way

Way to many variables to get a one size fits all answer. I have pushed material that cost anywhere from $0.25 per yard to $4.00 per yard. You had better have a good understanding of the conditions you are operating in, and a good handle on operating costs for the dozer. Then, with an older machine like a D-9H, do a small job and have a component failure, then what is the cost? What is the fuel burn per hour? What does it cost to service, pack fuel, etc.? Transport? Overhead, like insurance, office, payroll, phones, utilities, etc? What is the wear like? Some jobs ripper teeth last months, some they last a day, if you are lucky. Same with cutting edges. Nerw edges for a D-9 are around $2,500 now, and ripper teeth around $150. Will they last a day or a month? Same for undercarriage life. Different costs depending on the job. What kind of production can you get? The Cat handbook gives a good start, but you need to know your conditions. Good luck
