Greetings from South Texas. What is the disadvantage of a 7 axle dump truck which some refer to them as a tandem with 3 drop axles and a hydraulic Strong arm in the rear? They are legal to 80k. I can see tire wear issues. Anything other problems? Thank you in advance.
They are great for paving and hard surfaces. the frames take a beating, the steering axle takes a beating, and they get stuck once you leave the pavement. My friend drove one for a while and it seemed like the frame flexed all the time, and generally felt like ass to drive.

Strong arm beds are very tall because the trucks are shorter big advantage being shorter If your hauling dirt off a job with them you dam near cant load them without a three yard loader for a lack of reach
