Will this rake work for getting sticks out of dirt, seems to carry a lot of dirt to my brush piles
Need a pic of the blade fully raised. From the look of it setting there looks (the rake) to be too tall for the current setup.
What type of ground are you clearing and how deep are you going? If there's sod or the dirt isn't breaking up could put a lot of dirt in your brush piles.
A simple way of getting the dirt out is to roll the blade full of vegetation. To do this stop pushing about 3 lengths of the dozer away from the heap then do a series of short pushes lifting the blade as you push and the dirt falls out. Result is a clean stack.
When you raise the blade up, the teeth should be maybe 12 inches below the cutting edge. Though I have used shorter than that, especially on smaller dozers. A rake will always carry dirt, its all in the technique used.
THANKS TO ALL, I WILL put techniques to practice
